Green Cat Renewables is pleased to welcome Ally Wright to the team.
Ally joined GCR in 2019, starting out working with the team in Scotland and recently relocating to join the Calgary team at the start of 2023. Ally holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Glasgow, as well as an MSc in Sustainable Engineering: Renewable Energy Systems and the Environment from the University of Strathclyde. During his time with GCR he has gained experience in the development of wind and hydro generation projects, acting as owner’s engineer throughout the project construction phase. In addition, Ally has a thorough understanding of early phase development and has been engaged in feasibility studies for a range of renewable technologies. Ally joins the Calgary team as a Project Manager and is looking forward to bringing his UK experience to support projects here in Canada.
